"Great way to explore the island but communication could be better"

The freedom you get with a campervan is unmatched—definitely a great way to explore the island. The car was reliable, and the rooftop tent was comfortable for two people. Make sure you book the campsites in advance.

Communication was very poor throughout the rental. Replies often took hours or even days. Although we had agreed to meet earlier, the booking included the wrong address, and we were never given the correct one. Our calls went unanswered, leaving my friend and me waiting in a random parking lot for almost an hour before finally receiving the car. I also reached out the night before our return to ask how to drop off the car and didn’t hear back until the next morning—only after I called again. By then, we were already waiting for an Uber to the airport, and not having the code to lock the car was the last thing we needed to worry about. Very frustrating experience.

The jeep, roof top tent and all essentials provided were 10/10 Very comfortable rooftop tent and the bedsheets/pillows smelt AMAZING Inside the jeep was clean. This was truly the best way to experience beautiful Maui!
