The house was small and pokey. Horrible smell, old very used furniture. Cushions and blankets weren't very clean. There was no soap in the soap dispenser in the bathroom, coffee jar empty and filthy, cobwebs in most rooms. Had to wash mugs before using, either badly stained or with dust & bits in them. Bathroom is an annexe outside of the kitchen in the garden, cold. Steep stairs to go upstairs with a hand rail only half way up. No instructions on where to find things (like hairdryer) or how to put the heating on. Big disappointment, very overpriced.

Good location, clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds. We stayed for 9 days and found everything to our expectations. Good communication with our host when the power went off and they got an electrician out immediately.

We were not sure how to adjust the heating as we had a bit of a cold snap for a couple of days.
