Grande Appartamento per gruppi e famiglie in centro storico a Lucca con terrazza e AC

The location was perfect, it had all the amenities we needed.

I did not notice when I booked it that it did not have an elevator, which is my fault.

Appartamento in palazzo storico al terzo piano senza ascensore, soffitti con travi a vista, camere molto particolari con porte comunicanti. il terrazzo un plus. Zona molto silenziosa e in pieno centro. Francesco molto disponibile e cordiale, ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni e i pass per la ZTL per carico e scarico bagagli.

Da rifornire/sostituire in generale le stoviglie della cucina, non erano sufficienti per tutti, in particolare le tazzine del caffè. Non essendoci l'ascensore un po' faticoso salire con i bagagli.

We loved our stay at this apartment. It was quirky, charming and had the feeling of stepping back in time but with all the comforts of modern life. Francesco our host was incredible. He helped us out so much by helping us drive our big luggage to the apartment from the train station and back. It was a really nice touch. He also gave us excellent suggestions and helped us arrange a wonderful birthday dinner. One night we were having a murder mystery party and wanted a private cook to prepare dinner for us in the apartment. Francesco's son Eduardo is passionate about food and came to the space and prepared a beautiful meal complete with wines appetivo, birthday cake and incredible sorbeto.

We struggled to find things on occasion like the cutlery or the drying rack but it was a bit like a scavenger hunt. Everything needed was there in the end.

Francesco very helpful and kindly meet us at the station and help us with our luggage. This charming apartment was very spacious as we could spread out between two apartments combined as one , it had a lovely large balcony perfect for pre dinner drinks and was in the ideal location . We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and recommend booking the large apartment for groups .

No elevator but worth the climb up the stairs
