Wonderful Villa in Chania with Private Pool, Panoramic Sea Views & Spacious Interiors

Pool area & sun loungers were fantastic. Beds were comfortable & lovely clean new bedding, pillows amazing! Well equipped kitchen. Very spacious for 8 of us. We frequently used Costas taxi service - superb!

The villa generally needs some updating, very old furniture & dated decor. Bathrooms need more thorough cleaning, sealant round baths etc. Villa is on a very steep hill which wasn’t clear on the description. Own car/taxis an absolute must.

The best thing about this property was the pool.

The beds were hard as were some of the pillows, the lights were really dim on the first floor bedroom, the sheets were dirty in one of the rooms, there was left over food in the refrigerator that we were told in the end was left for us. The grill by the pool was filthy and unusable. The beautiful windows displayed in the picture were all cloudy, The house itself has great qualities, but is in desperate need of maintenance and deep cleaning.

The Villa was a great place to stay for a few days. It was clean and tidy. Highlights of the apartment were the views from the villa to the sea, the clean pool, the small but refreshing garden and the high cieling living room. Our host was extremely kind and freindly. We were greeted with a smile, while we were collecting the keycode from her Office. Once we checked in, there was fresh greek sweet bread waiting for us. The Kitchen was great and well furnished. We were a group of 10 and had breakfast almost every morning on the balcony in front of the kitchen. It was a great exprience to stay at the villa and will definitely come back, when visiting Chania again.

The house was big and there was a lot of space. The pool was good and clean. There were plenty of sunbeds.

The worst thing was that the house was dirty. There were dirty dishes in the kitchen and it smelled very bad. The smell went away when we washed the kitchen well. The beds were hard and bad for sleeping. There was not enough hot water. There was a lot of echoing in the house and all the sounds could be heard around the house. Everywhere there were cheap decorations and plastic flowers that were not shown in the pictures. The furniture was not all the same as in the pictures.

Villa is big. It also has really nice pool which is being cleaned regularly. Street parking is free and always available. Host allowed us to check-in earlier and he was responsive all the time. Every room has an AC.

It was not clean enough. Beds had some hair. Newer towles required.

We booked this Villa for 10 people for our summer vacation. I will start with Afroditi's and Manos' hospitality! They were excellent hosts; they shared a list of activities with us, places to visit, tavernas, taxis, and house instructions. They also created a group chat, to be easier for us to communicate with them, and they have left some treats for us when we arrived. Regarding the house, it is pretty comfortable for 10 people, and you can chill in the pool, balcony, or living rooms. There is a functional A/C in each room. They clean the pool twice per week and the house every five days. The pool is quite big, and you can enjoy your time there. There is a washing machine and a dishwasher. Keep in mind that two of the bathrooms are inside the bedrooms. The location is convenient, as there is a beach nearby (7 minutes walking), a nice taverna, and it is 17 minutes away from the old town of Chania with the car. I will recommend that you rent a car for your stay.

Some of the furniture are quite old; that is not a problem as they are functional but they don’t follow the luxurious style of the house. The mattresses are not super comfortable, especially on the single beds. We encountered a rude neighbor, who shouted at us because we were talking at the pool after 23.30. No music, no shouting, we were just 4 people talking. If he is there, most probably will shout at you too if you stay up late in the pool.
