"A beautiful home in a quiet area - a short walk into Cardiff. Great hosts."

Taffs Mead House is deceptively good. An externally unassuming gorgeous Victorian terrace with thick walls and high ceilings located on a quiet cul-de-sac. The hosts were great, the house was lovely. There's a Tesco Express two minutes away. Cardiff centre (Station / Stadium) is about 15 minutes walk along the river. Six of us stayed for a weekend. We'd love to stay again.

The property was very modern, clean and finished to a high standard. The bathroom was absolutely wonderful. The kitchen very well equipped indeed with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and oven/grill, all being very new and modern goods. We loved the welcome pack of wine, crisps and milk. We were a group of 4 there for the half marathon and had two cars. We found car parking spaces outside the property, having pre-registered our registrations with the hosts. It was about a 15 minute walk to the city centre.

The area was a bit tired, but the house was a little haven. We felt very safe and wouldn’t hesitate staying there again.

Location was good and easy to find. House was clean and well set up for our stay. Everything you could have needed was there for you to use. Easy to get to things around the City, useful information provided by the owners on where to be able to get things locally.

"Very comfortable beautiful home"

Beautiful modern home with everything you need to enjoy your trip away. Lovely welcome basket with goodies on arrival and tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were, it’s probably the most comfortable I’ve been staying away from home. You are a short walk away from the city centre and there are shops/pubs and restaurants nearby. We found parking right outside the property every night and the owners added our car to the residents permit. I would definitely book again when returning to Cardiff.

The area is not scenic but it’s a great location for town/stadium and the bay.
