Holiday home with sauna in the Arctic Caribbean, Tromsø

We had the best time here! Even though the weather didn't behave this was the perfect place to hunker down and wait for it to pass! Una was a fabulous host and we had everything we needed! The sauna was a great extra too! Don't hesitate to come stay, I'd love to go back!

Unbeatable location views from all sides of the property minutes to the beach local hotel hills ferry and more nature all around don't have to travel to see the Aurora can step out onto the large balcony excellent coffee machine and facilities will be back with more family great place to explore chill fjords mountains breath taking very comfortable log burner great layout just over an hour from Airport with a car you have amazing place to explore one day in tromso enough for us could speed much longer at this amazing property thank you to the family for offering it out to us my family lived it an experience to cherish

Nothing if you want big shops City lights not for you having said that just over an hour and the most beautiful drive you can be near the city tromso much rather stay here

Everything was perfect as far as the house is concerned. The location was simply the best as we could admire the Northern Lights from our backyard or the terrace. We enjoyed the sauna and all the other facilities such as freshly ground coffee from the coffee machine (the beans were waiting for us in the cupboard). The island itself is insanely beautiful and the neighbours really nice. Thank you for everything!

We loved everything except for the fact that our flight from Berlin was cancelled twice and we could not enjoy the house and northern Norway for the whole week as we arrived here two days later. Obviuously it's not Una's fault.

Salon z cudownym widokiem na góry, zatoki, z wygodnym kominkiem. Gospodarzre zostawili kawę ziarnistą do ekspresu, więc mieliśmy cudne poranki Sauna z widokiem Cisza spokój zorze na wyciągnięcie ręki

Todo muy bonito, la zona, la sauna, estaba todo bastante Ok. Quizás las habitaciones y la zona de ducha de abajo eran un poco raro. Pero la casa ha sido una maravilla. El salón genial, madera hay suficiente para hacer fuego alrededor de 3 noches durante por lo menos 2-3h cada noche. Hay también más madera en las gasolineras para comprar y no es muy cara. La casa muy limpia y ordenada, fácil de entrar y fácil de salir. El dueño muy amable y cordial. En diciembre se tarda de aquí a Tromsø alrededor de 45-50 min en coche. Según como vayas y si hay mucho hielo o poco en la carretera. La sauna se enciende mediante un botón que conseguimos descubrir el 2 día :) que está ubicado en la parte izquierda a la altura de los pies donde te sientas. Agradecemos la amabilidad del dueño. El ferri para ir hasta senja está a tan solo 6 min de la casa. Muy cerca y te evita 4h de camino en coche. Apenas nos costó 20€ ida y vuelta con coche y pasajeros incluidos.

En cuanto a los utensilios, sartenes y demás, lo mejor es lavarlos de nuevo antes de usarlo, quizás sería la única pega.

Everything was perfect, but the living room is so cosy we loved to spend time all together in here. The sauna was so so good, and the view is wonderful. There is a supermarket near to the house so it was very convenient. Even tho we are 1h away from Tromso, it was very easy to go there with our car for the activities. Just the second bathroom on the ground floor can be upgraded so that everyone is eaqually comfy.

Domek jest przestronny i przytulny. Zdjęcia nie oddają jego uroku, wiec byliśmy bardzo pozytywnie zaskoczeni. Dodatkowo jest położony w przepieknym miejscu. Picie kawy z rana z takim widokiem było bardzo przyjemnym doświadczeniem. Gdy dotarlismy na miejsce, działała klimatyzacja, więc bylo ciepło, w pokojach znajdują się piecyki,wiec kazdy mógł dogrzać pokoj według uznania(co prawda brakowało piecyka w jednym pokoju, ale jest to pokoj na piętrze, więc nabral temperaturę z otoczenia). Na ogromny plus jest sauna, łatwa w użyciu z wygodnym wyjściem na zewnątrz. Dom jest bardzo dobrze wyposażony i niczego nam nie brakowało. Oczywiście nie mozna pominąc roli gospodarza, Una przekazała nam informację o tym jak dostać sie do domu oraz jakie panują warunki pogodowe, a w srodku czekał na nas list z kolejnymi niezbednymi informacjami i propozycjami spędzania wolnego czasu. Serdecznie polecamy i z chęcią wynajmiemy ten domek przy kolejnym wypadzie do Tromsø

This place is amazing, we had the best time. The house was perfect, spacious, warm, excellent views, had everything we could ever need, thank you Una. We will be back next year.
