Château de Mazan - Handwritten Collection

We had a beautiful stay with our family at the boutique hotel of chateau de Mazan. This beautiful Provençal old mansion, which once belonged to the de Sade heir, has been authentically renovated to a luxurious hotel, which still breaths the old spirit but with modern comfort and lots of good taste. The rooms are spacious and fresh through the airco (even at 34 degrees Celsius outside), and well isolated from noise. I would recommend booking a room in the main building. The surrounding terrace, garden and pool are also beautiful and calm. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Very good breakfast with homemade pastries and local ingredients. Also the restaurant in the evening is delicious, in a romantic setting on the terrace with a view on the garden and the illuminated castle. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Do not expect a five star hotel but an authentic boutique hotel in a familial atmosphere. You can book a parking spot on the private parking next to the hotel, which is recommended. The parking space is not accessible for very low cars.

Stayed in the suite with own terrace. The room was great, staff friendly, pool -nice, breakfast delicious.

Piscine gelée - jamais au soleil 4 petites serviettes de bain dans la chambre prévu pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants (même pas de peignoir à disposition) Café soluble dans la chambre - même pas une machine Nespresso. Cuisine pas bonne (poulet trop sec, cromesquis pas assez cuit…) La climatisation ne marchait pas (impossible de connaître l’intensité du moniteur), bruit qui a duré toute la nuit sans discontinuer

Die zentrale Lage des Hotels in der Stadt ist sehr schön. Auch das Hotel selber und seine Ausstattung inkl. Pool sind sehr schön.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Le bruit la nuit d’un groupe d’anglais ivres dans la piscine à 2 h du matin….mais vite résolu par le veilleur de nuit heureusement
