"Not for the traveler staying longer than 2 nights"

The location (about a 25-minute walk to the marina) is reasonably convenient.

For the past six weeks, we’ve been staying in apartments throughout Europe, and while I understand this isn’t Europe, this has been one of the most disappointing places we’ve stayed in. I honestly don’t understand why the previous reviews were so positive. Firstly, there’s no dining table or chairs — only a small kitchen bench, which we had to use to store the food we purchased. The cupboard space was completely filled with what appeared to be storage for other apartments, leaving us with nowhere to unpack or store our belongings. For clothing, there were only two standing racks available. We also discovered that “toaster” can mean different things in different countries — in this case, there wasn’t a proper one, and trying to toast bread in a microwave doesn’t work. Thankfully, the under-bench oven had a grill top, which helped a bit. Overall, a disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment if you’re looking for space or comfort to unpack and settle in - we stayed for 3 days. However, if all you need is a bed and a shower, it does the job

Spacious and well located apartment. Access via key code provided online, so we didn't see a host. Questions answered quickly online though. I was told they couldn't arrange transport from the train station due to "local regulations". I don't know why that would be the case. We never did work out how to convert the sofa bed.

Thr host Mr. Issa is very flexible and responsive. Very quick to answer on what's app and booking.Com messaging and promptly addressed requests. Apartment is in a great location right by the Marina and short walk to the Medina. Very nice views of the Mediterranean. Notes that this is actually a 1-bedroom unit (the bedroom is separat from living area). Easy access with door code. Warmly recommended!
