Albano, Ocean view and pool near Miraflores and airport

The location was nice. Stores and small restaurants nearby. The owner Mrs. Albano was nice and sympathetic. There was another person who started messaging later: he was not so nice. He was very intrusive and abrupt as a matter of fact.

There were issues with basic services. But Mrs. Albano accommodated us to some extent, so I will not hold it against her.

The security guard downstairs was very friendly and helpful when we couldn’t open the door to the apartment. Ursula over WhatsApp was friendly. Bed Mattress was firm

Frankly we were disappointed with our stay for the following reasons: Cash only- we were told a day before our stay that we need to provide cash and can’t use card. Dirty apartment- apartment was dirty and run down. There were black mold everywhere in the shower. Poor amenities- no coffee, no tea bags in the kitchen. Two old towels that have seen better days. Bed was small. Thin duvet that barely kept us warm enough through the night. Bedroom is incredibly small. No heating or cooling. WIFI password was only shared through WhatsApp when we had already checked in , and since we didn’t have any data on the day of our arrival I didn’t get that message till we have bought sim packages the next day and by then it wasn’t needed anymore. It would be nice if Wifi details were evident somewhere in the apartment or the details were shared before checking in. Noisy neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is incredibly noisy at all hours of the night including being on the flight path for Lima airport. On top of that the neighbours were blasting music Sunday just before midnight.

The rooftop pool is amazing! Beautiful view. The apartment is also gorgeous with two balconies with great views of the city and ocean. The bathrooms have bidets, which is not common in Peru. This is not the most touristic part of Lima, but Miraflores, Barranco, and the beach are easily accessible by taxi or public transport. The neighborhood is very safe. There’s a corner store on the bottom floor of the same building, which is very convenient for small things like drinks or yogurt for breakfast.

There was no curtain/blinds for the living room glass door. This is understandable given the view, but made it a bit less comfortable for my friend with modesty needs.

Good location. Very Clean. Fantastic view of Lima.

Noise from Street, but it is hard to escepe in Lima. Cold in night, but esem blankets were available. Nottinghamu against owner.
