Applecott - 2 bedroom Thatched cottage close to Stonehenge

Lovely small cottage. Perfect location, good facilities.

Could use some small amenities when you arrive. Soap in bathroom and kitchen towel etc

Location; 2 nice pubs serving food and a shop next door. All close to Stone Henge and accisciated sites.

The property was stunning had everything u need

The fact that it says enclosed garden. But as no gate and right on a busy road had to use wheelie bin to keep my dog safe but still got out. Not good if children at property. Also. Took over hour to run a bath as water very slow on hot . The fact that u can’t put heating on was abit chilly at times .

Loved convenience of location near pubs, shop and easy access to the plains for bike rides. Cottage is nicely appointed and has good quality kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable beds and good outdoor space.

Noise from passing traffic was obtrusive until about 7:30pm when it lessened. It doesn't affect sleep thankfully. We knew it was on the main road but traffic was busier than I'd imagined. No parking space - but this is well explained - and it wasn't difficult to find somewhere about 50m away.

Applecott is een charmant huis, super schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het dorpje is schattig met 2 inns en een kleine winkel. Leuke plaatsen om te bezoeken in de omgeving. We hebben er genoten, een aanrader.

De kraan in de douche maakt soms een geluid als een olifant.

Spacious, very comfortable. Loved the way the property had been modernised. Everything there we needed, very well provisioned kitchen.

Nothing that we didn’t like, loved our stay would gone again, but something perhaps to think about; the bath was very slippy when having a shower, perhaps a bathmat (but appreciate these have to be kept clean), also would have liked a tea towel in the kitchen to dry dishes when not using the dishwasher.
