Luxury glamping in Constable Country - Valley View Yurt

We had a fantastic weekend staying in the yurt. It was absolutely spotless on arrival and clearly very well looked after. The log fire inside was a real highlight, it kept us warm and cosy, which was much needed as it can get quite cold, especially at night. The outdoor shower was surprisingly great, with plenty of hot water, making it really comfortable even in cooler weather. Another standout feature was the wood-fired hot tub, which was lovely to relax in while taking in the beautiful views over the valley. Overall, it was a peaceful and unique getaway, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit different.

Unfortunately this place was a total waste of money . I surprised my girlfriend on the day of our engagement / and her birthday as a gift .firstly when we arrived the 5 minute walk from the car to the tent was in pitch black darknees .we had been out all day and had pretty much used our phone battles up so therefore didn't have long left to use our phones as a torch . We had to pull an old heavy rusty trailer with our belongings in. The darkeness was actually very scary as it was in the middle of a feild again with zero lights making it very hard to find the tent . Once we got inside the tent it immediately smelt of overwhelming damp . Again inside we had to try to find a light and there was only a small amount of fairly lights . It was very cold inside and even when we lit the log burner it didn't make any difference to the temperature. There was not one plug socket inside the tent tje toilet is outside and round the back of it making it very dangerous especially in the dark . There wasn't any electricity inside .no shower .no kettle inside or radio or tv . We left within ,ten minutes of arriving we have contacted the owner and he was very rude and wouldn't give us money back . definitely do not recommend

Stove heated the Yurt surprisingly quickly. Interesting experience!

Massively overpriced (for that location). No hot water, except for outdoor shower. Very basic outdoor furniture.

Perfect! Very cosy and private with everything you need for a stay. Even better than we had hoped. Luxury is the right word! Highly recommend.

The location was beautiful and the yurt was tastefully furnished. We really enjoyed cooking in the outdoor kitchen space.

Stunning, relaxing, well equipped and very clean.

My only constructive criticism is, I would suggest a curtain or shutter across the bathroom.

Very clean, tidy and well presented. Lovely peaceful setting. Everything you could want for a quiet, romantic getaway.

We didn't find fault with anything on our stay, we'll definitely be back again :)
