Idyllische Lage, oberhalb der A82, von der man aber nahezu nichts hört. Wir haben die Ruhe und die Aussicht auf den Loch Ness genossen, wenn wir von unseren Tagesausflügen zurück kamen. Die große Küche war gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir würden uns jederzeit wieder für dies Unterkunft entscheiden.

Bei Anreise roch es im Wohnzimmer relativ stark nach Rauch vom Ofen. Möglicherweise wurde dieser nicht korrekt genutzt. Vielleicht wäre es sinnvoll, neben allen anderen Infos in der Mappe für Gäste, eine Kurzanleitung für die Nutzung des Ofens auszulegen.

Great location and good value

After travelling a long way when we got to the house there was no tea, coffee or milk which was disappointing. There were also quite a lot of cobwebs around the property

Good location and very peaceful with everything you could need

Only downside we had was that bees or wasps had started making a nest in the roof space above our bedroom so we could hear them at night but that did not distract from the accommodation and the owner was informed and will sort out

The cottage was beautiful. It was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The master bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the luxurious bedding! Loved having radiators in all the rooms that were easy to use and heated quickly. Great views around. Loved sitting in the kitchen for breakfast looking out at the countryside. This is a great location for cruises on Loch Ness. Would love to comeback here. Thank you!

My friends and I had a fantastic stay at Kerrowdown Cottage. It was very spacious and the wood burning stove made the living room feel very cosy in the evenings. The views from the car park at the front of the property are beautiful and Drumnadrochit is only a 20 minute walk or a 2-3 minute from the cottage where there is then lots to do and explore. We enjoyed the many walks around Loch Ness and the vast countryside. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone for a trip to the Highlands! 3 bathrooms in the property was a great bonus too.

The beds in the single room were a little bit uncomfortable but it was fine for a few days.
