The golden hour, luxury apartment with a panoramic view

The Golden Hour is in the ideal location, literally right around the corner from the historic district and pedestrian piazzas. This was our first time visiting Lecce and we found it to be an amazing city. The apartment looks just like the photos -- beautiful and comfortable. The terrace is right off the kitchen and looks out onto the city. We chose to pay the 20 Euro a night for private parking, which was well worth it. The parking lot is right around the corner and we noted that finding an open street parking space would have been difficult. Federica was very responsive and she speaks English. We would definitely stay there again.

As others have noted, the elevator stops one flight down from the apartment so you do have to carry your luggage up one flight of stairs. This was not a problem for us but if you have mobility issues, it is something to keep in mind.

The host Federica was fantastic! She explained everything about the apartment and gave us recommendations for restaurants. It was a short walk to the old town. The terrace was magnificent! We sipped our Puglia wine and watched the sunset. Luna the bunny kept us company 😊 The bed was comfortable and shower was good. The lift for luggage was very helpful. Nice to have a washer and drying rack.

The stairs!! Hahaha.. yes lots of stairs to keep you in shape but it was worth it for the beautiful view!

An absolute perfect apartment, with a huge, beautiful terrace. Equipped with more than you need.Great location with walking distance ti the Centro Storico. A few minutes from a supermarket as well. The host was great with lots of information about the area.

Amazing sun terrace that lived up to the golden hour name. Apt was clean and spacious and we were extremely well looked after.

Cosy 1-bedroom flat in a great location, well equipped and very clean. It is great for a short trip to Lecce. You can reach everything on foot. We enjoyed it very much.

Fantastic facilities for a one bedroom apartment. Loved the terrace!

Fully equipped kitchen and roof top terrace

Excellent location, very close to the city centre, restaurant, bars etc, with a nice terrace. If you are visiting Lecce and the surroundings with a car, you can have a spot by paying 20€ per day, as offered by the host. Nevertheless, we found empty spaces in the paid public parking nearby. (and it costs you only €1,3 per hour, and you only pay during some predefined hours, and it costs you way less)

Due to its location it can be a bit noisy; if you are a light sleeper, I definitely recommend earplugs.

Huge apartment, all brand new, luxury finishes. Super comfy foam mattress. Beautiful balcony with a view, full kitchen and strong AC. Centrally located near the shops and old town, but apartment was very quiet. The owner was very kind and helpful for anything needed. Street parking in the blue zones using the meters (they take credit card payment) was easy, but if you’re nervous driving in Italy there is a paid private parking garage €20/day on the next street. Great apartment!

From the elevator there is a small set of stairs to the unit. It wasn’t an issue for me as I had a carry-on suitcase, but for those that packed multiple XL suitcases may not be ideal

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in this very well equipped and comfortable apartment. It’s very well located… only a few minutes walk to both the historic centre and the shopping area of Lecce. The apartment also has a lovely rooftop terrace, perfect for breakfast or a late afternoon glass of wine. Cafes, restaurants and a supermarket are also nearby. As well, Federica was a wonderful host who made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
