Very central, warm, clean, and couldn't hear much noise from outside. The shower worked well too.

The bed was uncomfortable. One side of the mattress has collapsed and would need to be replaced. I didn't find the other half of the bed comfortable either, but it was intact.

Great location, the apartment is right in the middle of town, walking distance from the train station.

On our arrival, we were disappointed to find that the tv was broken (large impact on the screen with broken screen) The property was advertised with a tv and we were not told in advance that it would not be available. We also discovered that the kitchen window was broken and could not close properly due to a broken hinge which caused a draft and cold in the kitchen/living room. The toaster and a couple of glasses were broken. We stayed for 5 days and reported the issue on the first day of arrival (Wednesday) but nobody bothered responding us.

The ease of collecting the keys was the only good thing about the property!

The property had no working fire safety or smoke detectors. The smoke detectors were capped and sealed which is against national safety standards. There was mould around the living area windows where our child who is asthmatic was to sleep. There was no working heating and the hot water was insufficient for 3 people. The bathroom had hair (not from a head) and old soap waste in the bath. The walls had filthy hand prints all over it. The communal areas of the apartment were filthy. Old cigarette butts and food scraps. The property management did not respond to any requests for assistance nor offer to do anything to remedy the situation. We had booked for 8 nights and only stayed one. Absolutely appalling.

5 minutes away for Chelmsford Cathedral perfect for grauation ceremony.

The apartment itself is decent, clean and well kept inside although the corridor and stairs leading there are not.

Terrible. We left after one night of a two night stay. Apart from the discomfort of having one bath towel between the three of us and having to go looking in an airing cupboard for a sheet to cover the sofa bed, the flat is located right above chicken shop, which meant the smell of fried chicken was in our bedroom until nearly midnight. But even without that it was impossible to sleep on a Friday night. I did not fall asleep until after 5 am and my family also struggled as the noise from people partying in the street was impossibly loud and constant. You can also hear the thumping from a nearby nightclub. Perhaps I am naive but this should come with a warning that it is not for families and only for those intending to stay out until the early hours. I have received no response to my message requesting a refund for the second night.
