Seaview Symphony Opulent 4BR Haven for Big Groups

Spotless and comfortable. Beautiful views and near everything.

The house was suitable for what we needed - business juggling with half term.

The beds could be more comfortable, there is not sufficient soft seating in the lounge, and the garden needs a spruce up.

The property was very clean, spacious and well-equipped. Perfect sea views - I might be a bit biased as a fan of the Kent coast! Great location for us as a group - we went to a wedding at Quex Park nearby and it’s a v.short journey by car.

Nothing that we didn’t like. Perhaps maybe have an iron (or we couldn’t locate one).

Loved the view, great location and ground floor bedroom with en-suite was great for elderly disabled parents.

The property itself was nicely decorated, spacious, plenty of bathrooms, open kitchen and had a nice seaview.

On arrival the property felt incredibly damp and smelly, when looking around we found a large pile of towels, still wet folded up inside the downstairs cupboard… We had to get a clothes horse and hang them up outside. When you book a stay you don’t expect to find yourself doing someone else’s laundry. The towels folded nicely on our beds were also still damp, so had be hung! Other notes, few stains on carpets, scuffs on walls ect - nothing major. Garden is in need of serious deweeding - it was very tatty! Also (and this isnt the property fault) but the seaweed smell / stench was so unbearable at times we had to keep all the windows shut and on a hot weekend this was awful. I suggest anyone going to Birchington read up on the seaweed issue - its rotting and theres a lot online about how bad it is. Lastly - and this was the worst, the black rubbish bin outside that you put general waste in was not only full, but had 100’s of maggots (on day 1 of our arrival) This is a serious H&S concern. Overall the property has a lot of potential but I would blame a poor management company (ie bin collections, more towels and those being cleaned off site, general upkeep)
