The home is nice, but failing to disclose certain things upfront outweighs any benefits it offers.

It was advertised for Panama City, FL but after the booking was complete, we found the address was actually in Callaway, FL. Also, after booking, we received a note stating the location is near woods, a dirt road, and is scary at night if not familiar. This made us nervous but the booking was non refundable, so we rolled with it. The note also mentioned due to the location of the home you may encounter wildlife including possible bears. Again, we thought about not going, but, it is non refundable. This is a pet friendly rental, but the $350 pet fee was not disclosed until after the non refundable booking was completed. There is an additional fee per extra person that’s not disclosed at all. Also, the day before check-in there is a $1,000 deposit required that was not disclosed upfront either.
