"A charming period cottage in a beautiful spot."

10.0

We loved the peaceful location, the beautiful flowers and the charm and history of the period property. It was very clean, comfortable and the dog shower was a real plus.

The very small fridge meant that we were a bit limited for cold drinks for a family stay during a hot spell but this was a small price to pay for an otherwise excellent cottage.

"My thoughts"

9.0

Its really nicely finished, clean, and modern looking The bathroom was lovely and the shower was great. the surroundings were peaceful and tidy, really cosy feel.

All the beds looked lovely but were extremely uncomfortable. Very soft and could feel the springs. Would be nice to have a mirror in the downstairs bedroom.

"Absolutely incredible!"

10.0

Everything about the property was fantastic! The location was perfect, the setting was unbelievable, its set in the woods so you have beautiful walks from your doorstep, the river running through the front and the additional garden area with the stream was the highlight for me personally. The area was great, shops and beach local, the neighbours also made it extra special for us too, they were all so lovely and friendly, one gentleman gave us a tour of his land and the waterfall that sits on his property and it was breathtaking. The cottage itself is extremely well put together, everything you could possibly need, the bathroom was beautiful, both the bath and shower were great too! The host was fantastic, extremely helpful and responded straight away, he went above and beyond for used and the extra touches for my dog aswell! She LOVED the full basket of toys and treats! Honestly we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thankyou so much! We can’t wait to come back! x

Nothing at all!

We booked for a short break to see family. The pictures do not do the place justice. It is beautiful inside and out! Very cozy and relaxing ! Host was lovely and very helpful.

Cannot fault anything! Just a shame we only stayed for two days,we will definitely be back to explore the surroundings.

Lovely quiet location next to a river, comfy beds, good WiFi, very clean. The owner was very accommodating, Would definitely stay again.

The only criticism is the fridge was a bit on the small side for 6 people. But don't let this put you off from staying in a beautiful house and location.

"Absolutely beautiful, would definitely return!"

9.0

The property was beautiful and perfect location to explore nature, there are lovely walks directly behind the cottage. We loved being able to sit outside during the nice weather under the pretty lights, or even the stars once it got dark (the doggos especially). The welcome booklet had lots of help for places to eat and walks nearby, we really appreciated the effort that went into this!

The one and only tiny downfall was that the pots and pans weren’t large enough to cook for so many people, even just at breakfast time
