Beautiful property- gorgeous house with lovely touches (the bird sound bathroom) luxurious bedrooms, pretty garden -just lovely

Host was very responsive and accommodated the party well (including cots, replacing missing items in the kitchen in a timely manner etc). She provided a service wash of laundry whilst we were away as the washing machine was no longer included in the booking as originally advertised. The house was ready earlier than advertised which was convenient too. The kitchen was well stocked allowing us to cook for a family of 10 for breakfast and dinner with enough pans/crockery etc. Very large bedrooms and lounge which was good for the size of the party.

The house was clean on arrival but there were a few instances of live slugs/slug trails we noticed during the week in various places in the house. I note that a Google review mentioned the same that makes me wonder if it is more of an underlying issue than a one off occurrence as one of the slugs was seen in the same place they mentioned. The downstairs toilet seat needs fixing as it closes when you try to leave it up, but this is a minor issue.

Excellent accommodation, extremely clean and well equipped property. Location brilliant. The garden was superb for all 9 of us plus 3 dogs. Thank you, Marie, for allowing us all to stay.

Beautiful big house close to everything. Lovely garden space to play in. Everything was set and ready for us. We had a wonderful week. Thank you.

Only small quarm was the bedroom door to the twin room with the en suite didn't close - too tight to the carpet.

The size

Cleanliness behind the furniture was disgusting, dishwasher never worked, no washer dryer as stated. Hoover was that full with dust just blew dust everywhere when turned on, no mop or brush, only had one towel for 3 nights each that is. Dining room like a dungeon didn’t eat in there . Showers did not stay on the wall so you had to have a hand held shower! Curtains very dusty at the top and missing hooks sliding door all broken at the top,

The track to the drive was in poor state of repair meaning the car bottomed out

Absolutely stunning. The bedrooms were lovely and big, the house was very homely and practical. Gorgeous views, we would definitely stay there again. The communication was fantastic, helped us with the ferry booking, they couldn’t have make it easier.

Loved the size and the style of the property. We were all made to feel extremely welcome, the human guests and the dog guests. Marie was super helpful after finding out there were road works affecting the main route to Shanklin, giving us directions to avoid the lengthy detours. Thank you for the fabulous stay.

Access via the track road would have been more challenging in wetter weather. Dogs not entirely enclosed so needed to keep on leads when outside.
