Bright and airy and very clean in a lovely area. It was very easy to contact host with questions. The sheets for the sofa bed were super soft! Enjoyed the amenities in the bathroom. I always appreciate shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a black face cloth for make-up removal. Kitchen had a perfect array of basic items for use and lovely dishware. We parked on the street but loved the fact that there was dedicated parking in the back of the house.

It was rather warm in the apartment, and the thermostat was 'locked' (we could have reached out but we didn't.) Small details addressed would bring this review from a 9 to a 10. For example: plastic removable hooks in the bathroom were not very functional (one was ripped off the wall, and it took the paint with it.) Better to use very inexpensive metal hooks instead. Removing the large label sticker on the shower rod would be easy to do. A plain shower curtain would have enhanced the beauty of the bathroom and the AMAZING floor tiles. Again, not my home to decorate but sometimes the little touches make things so much cozy. Rest assured, I will totally stay there again when in the area.

Location was good and the apt was clean inside.

We didn't like that we could not control the temperature because they had one central control for 6 apts so they set the AC on 70 when it's 45 outside. We were cold at night. The building is a conversion from a house to several apartments but instead of spending the money to give each unit a thermostat to control they set it where they want it. Also the loud humidifier kicks on constantly attempting to mask the old house scent . I also don't want to wash dishes when on vacation or away for work so a dishwasher would be a nice addition. Clean up the front porch so it will be inviting. A Dirty table with cushions that look cruddy with cat hair is not welcoming. Then to add to the ugly is a fake plant with spider webs on the table.The front entry is dark and dismal. The exposed duct isn't attractive over the stove where you cook just has bad feng shui all over it. Also, the Mattress is uncomfortable and needs to be replaced and put the living room TV in the bedroom because it is too small.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The parking area was a great feature. The place was clean, quiet and comfortable. Mei was a great host as well and I'd be happy to stay here again some time.
