Osney Cypress Studio - Self Contained Studio Flat

Location

No air conditioning or fan in the room and it was very hot weather so we sweltered.

It was very cosy and clean, the place was easy to find and the procedure to access (key in code-protected keybox) was straightforward. The host was very friendly and responsive with ex ante questions.

It is a bit of a walk to the city, but that is also reflected in a lower price, so I would say that's ultimately fair.

Facilities were good. It was comfortable, good bathroom/shower and useful fridge, microwave and glasses, knives and forks etc

Not the property itself but there is a major road works diversion in Central Oxford which we weren’t advised about and which meant we had to divert over 7 miles from Central Oxford to get to the property. That caused a problem for the time critical events we were due to attend.

It’s location was convenient for the station and the room was very clean

Being in a small attic there were lots of head banging opportunities especially near the very small kitchenette (small microwave, kettle and fridge only) area next to the velux window which we had to keep open to avoid overheating. The only place to put the washing up was on top of the toilet seat after using the very small basin

It's on the top floor so not very accessible when you have a big suitcase.

Very cosy studio flat. Clean and tidy. Fridge and microwave/grill included so you can prepare basic meals.

A little cramped in the kitchen area with low sloped ceilings but cannot complain.

The location is perfect. It’s convenient to everything, but away enough to be quiet and calm.

The heater suddenly increased its power in the middle of the night and was uncomfortable. I learned after the first night to wake up when I heard it come on and turn it off and open the window. It’s probably because I stayed in the top floor and the system adjusted for the bottom floors. It was a quirk, not a major complaint.
