Winton Grove – for outdoor and tennis enthusiasts

Breakfast food was left for us and there was plenty of food

Great location, beautiful countryside and short drives to Powerscourt and lovely village of Enniskerry - looks like there are plenty of great walks nearby as well but we didn’t have time on this trip to try them out. Property was light and spacious and spotless. Basic kitchen behind the bar which was ample for cooking basic breakfast from raw ingredients provided and for making packed lunches.

The main bedroom is open plan with no door and the bed doesn’t have a headboard. Boiler / air conditioning was noisy but ok if you shut the downstairs door.

Great location for exploring Wicklow mountains. Peaceful location. Beds very comfortable and plenty of breakfast choices available. The host Luciana was very helpful

Environment is clean, property is pristine, tennis court is perfect, Sugarloaf mountain is nearby and visible from the property, nearby Avoca is perfect for breakfast, Dublin quite accessible while a rural location, cottage has a big screen for watching TV as well as a television and Apple TV

Heating was a little inconsistent throughout the apartment, some radiators were hotter than others, however overall everything was fine.

Hosts were very efficient and welcoming. Property was very easy to find, and the arrangements for entering the premises were first class. Facilities were excellent - the apartment is very roomy, very clean and modern. The tennis court was superb

The downstairs bar area is very impressive, but would have preferred a kitchen table to eat meals.
