MYWhen we arrived, we was very shocked to see the house, as it was actually two separate houses (one with three rooms, the other with three rooms). They were not connected, and we had to use the back door of one house to enter the other. We were completely disappointed because we were expecting one house with six rooms for our family stay. If we had known it was separate, we wouldn't have made the booking. When we mentioned to the owner that the houses were separate, they responded by saying the price was cheaper than others. The price isn’t the issue , we would have been willing to pay more. We chose this homestay because we specifically wanted six rooms in one house, and this was the only option available,the others were already sold out, If we had known earlier, we would not have made the booking. One room in the back house had a terrible smell, like something had died (decay), and despite checking, we couldn't find the source, yet the smell remained. We informed the owner, but they advised us to check again. The second room in the back house had a malfunctioning toilet,we had to manually add water to the tank to flush. There were too many problems, and we were totally disappointed. We informed the owner about these issues, but they simply said they had guests a week before our booking and there were no problems. We are not making up stories. We even requested the owner to come and inspect, but no one showed up. It was a very sad and frustrating experience. We hope the owner will provide a clear description on Booking . Com/ Airbnb to avoid future confusion.
MYDecent house with 2 units - 3 bedroom each. Booked both units. Spacious parking area. Near eatiries area. Location wise is good , its a centre point not too far from.city centre , or to Marang if u intend to go to Pulau Kapas. Or even if u want to go down to Tasik Kenyir. Basic facilities provided - utensils, fridge, induction stove , water dispenser, rice cooker and washing machine. The pool is suitable for.kids.
In future , hopefully house owner could furnish small wardrobe and dressing table as well.
