Lovely 2 Bedroom in San Gimignano Historic Center

An absolutely delightful apartment with everything you needed. Home away from home. The apartment was perfectly located near the town and restaurants.

Lovely modern apartment nicely furnished in quiet street but only 5mins walk to the town centre. Great to have air conditioning in main rooms.

Bit of a smell coming from the shower drain though this disappeared through the day. No shower gel - bottle hanging inside shower was empty.

Location

We don’t usually give negative feedback and prefer to contact the owner if there is a problem. When we checked in there was no toilet paper to be found! No rubbish bags or tea and coffee. We contacted the owner and had to wait an hour before the cleaner arrived with some. We had noticed a bad drain smell in the bathroom but thought it would clear. The next morning the drain smell was horrible and throughout the apartment so we contacted the owner to ask if he was aware of it. His response was “i’m sorry about the smell all over the apartment, please call booking to help you find an other acommodation please leave the keys back on the lock box, and let me know what time you check out, i’m sorry our place did not work out for you.” We replied that we were only trying to be helpful by letting him know. We told him we didn’t want to check out and were happy in the apartment and love the location. In my previous review the owner responded by saying that we had arrived an hour earlier than check in and that the apartment was still in the process of being prepared which is why some of the essentials like toilet paper, rubbish bags and refreshments had not yet been stocked. This is not true. We arrived at the property 45 minutes early hoping to drop off our bags. The cleaner opened the door and said we could come in and that she was finished. She left shortly after with no mention of returning with supplies.

High steps between main bedroom and rest of apartment. The door locked failed on us and needs replacement.It is in a ZTL area a d you have far to drag your luggage

You’re right in the historic centre of this fairytale, dreamy hill town, but away from the noise and crowds - truly the best of both worlds. The apartment itself is stylish yet full of character, with tasteful, heartwarming touches. Check-in was super easy and seamless, and the host was incredibly warm and welcoming - full of local tips and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. If you crave a little break from big city life, if you´re looking for breathtaking views, coziness and serenity, and fresh air, this is simply your perfect spot! A full and well-deserved 10. Special kudos to the dream kitchen, so cosy and well-equipped!

We have stayed in Casa San Gimi for the New Year holidays. The town is wonderful with beautiful views of Tuscany. The apartment is located in the old town. It's a very cozy apartment with amazing views. The apartment has everything you need for living: dishes, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster. Special thanks to the owner of the apartment. All issues and requests were resolved. We had a very good time in San Gimignano.
