GBThe house was lovely, spacious and well equipped. Great location only a short walk to the Barbican area. Easy access to the property and good communication with the host. I would definitely recommend this house.
The only downside was the double bed in bedroom 3 was on a mezzanine within a small room accessible by wooden stairs with limited headroom and very hot even with the fan provided. I think this needs to be made clearer in the description as it’s fine for younger agile people but challenging for others.
NZLovely old house which has had some renovation and updating. Mostly very comfortable, Really needs more fans as heatwave when we arrived. Main bedroom very comfortable, but the 2 singles need mattresses replacing. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable lounge and downstairs toilet. Loved the fish tank.
The backyard whilst painted and astroturfed, had no outside furniture and the back gate did not lock properly, so felt a bit insecure. Also there is an awkward step into the back door and I tripped and fell on the tiled floor and still have bruises! It needs to be levelled. Also no bedside lamps at all. Oh and the doorknobs in the bathroom were hanging off and I nearly got locked inside. Attention to detail on these points would have made it 9/10
GBThe house was lovely, the kitchen was great. Location is pretty good. They saved a lost teddy bear for us that we forgot and even sent it to us! The hosts are great communicators
The shower was a bit finicky but we got it to work in the end. The doors are quite flimsy, the fridge seemed to be rather bad at cooling.
GBThe house was warm and easy to use. There was an issue with the heating and water but problem was sorted quickly.
Found not having regular tv a challange. Street parking wasn't always easy to find as it was a busy area. Not having lamps in the bedrooms.
