Lovely little house in Yarrowford - Yarrow Valley

Great location, we loved the nearby walk for the dog. Comfy and clean, just the base we needed. Parking right outside the door. Play area for our son just across the road. Will definitely be back.

None of the bedroom lamps had anywhere to plug them into so they were just for decoration, only main ceiling light in front bedroom.

The property is a ground floor flat of a house. It was well equipped with a good kitchen. The rooms were a reasonable size and the mix of furniture was good. It was situated in a tiny village near the Scottish Border hills. Within reach of many walks of all grades. There is a garden to sit in. The kitchen is really well equipped.

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. There was dust a hair on all the floors and under the beds and chairs. The window ledges were dusty as were the skirtings and there were lots of cobwebs higher up. This was a problem for me particularly as I have asthma. There was also a problem with the shower glass door as water escaped in the corner of it and made it smell of damp.

Very cosy little house. Good position to explore the borders. House clean and well equipped. Enjoyed a November weekend here so the wood burning stove was a welcome addition.

Everything was lovely. I would just say that I would have paid a little extra for a small welcome pack of milk,bread,sugar, and coffee.

Location was good, dog friendly accommodation with easy places to walk them nearby. Great bonus was the children's playpark just across the road!

Bed in room at the back was not comfy!
