Ranch House Cottage, Pet Friendly Stay, Inverurie

Cannot give Ranch House Cottage anything but 10 out of 10 across the board. It is a beautiful Cottage in a stunning setting. We were at a wedding in Thainstone House, we could walk to the venue as it was only a few hundred metres

Have absolutely no criticisms

The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The extra touches of things like the honesty bar were lovely. We look forward to returning at some point in the future.

A minor improvement would be somewhere better to dry dishes washed by hand.

Very well decorated and spacious. Beds were comfortable and everything you needed was there including a washer and dryer.

The musty smell. Also the patio area was run down and could have been much better with a little clean up.

Lovely furnishing and facilities were great, beds comfy. Very clean. Well equipped. Beautiful modern decor and attention to the style. Lovely appliances and utility room great. Desk useful. Loved the woodland, squirrels etc. it feels remote but it brilliantly located near main routes.

Hot water always needed a boost. Not possible to have more than one shower without using switch. Also, the house had a musty smell, opened all the windows when I could but our coats etc soaked up the smell. I’m sorry to mention this but it’s just the way it was and I’m unsure what can be done about it as clearly it’s a well looked after property.

Everything! The kitchen was so well stocked and the knives were sharp.😊The high quality features and decor made our stay feel luxurious.

We did expect Sky TV to be able to watch sport.

Breakfast n/a Location was very quiet private and easily accessible

A secure area for our dog but this was not really a problem

Beautiful, peaceful, rural property set in a farmhouse style cottage. Very high spec with comfortable rooms, a designer bath & rainfall shower. Loads of space, great use of nooks & crannies (the fridge/freezer is built in under the stairs) & delightful touches (an honesty bar, books, games & a huge kitchen brimming with quality appliances & utensils) Lovely balcony leading off the main bedroom. Window seats for curling up with a book. Very clean & well cared for. Lovely walks in the surrounding area. A short car drive to Inverurie. Ideal for exploring the surrounding area & further afield.

As novices to a wood burner, instructions for problems when it’s windy would have been helpful…however, they were quick to respond to our queries. Otherwise perfect & the cottage was very cosy.

We loved EVERYTHING about the property. Cleanliness, decor, furnishings, VERY well equipped. It has been very well thought out when owners had furnished it for guests.

There was absolutely nothing you could fault

I loved everything about this place and when my friends visited, she was very impressed. All the facilities you would need for a warm cosy get away with that someone special.
