Villa Mariposa: Holiday Dream. New Listing offers

The Villa was beautiful with a great range of rooms and excellent dwelling and swimming.

The villa is backed onto an area with a farm animals - cows, roosters and other creatures. Roosters crowed from 4am onwards. Lots of noise all night along with a very large amount of Mosquitos. We made many attempts to mitigate the Mozzies, but the rooms still have far too many unsealed openings for them to get in. Unfortunately our children got eaten alive every night despite sprays, burners and repellents. 30+ bites each.... Literally covered in bites which is a concern when abroad for obvious reasons. All above factors limit the ability to relax and/or sleep without interruption. Despite the appearance of the Villa, it's maybe less suited to a travelling family with younger kids. By no means the fault of the Villa owners, and more on us for not doing better research. Would stay again without the littlies.

Die Villa ist recht neu und schön gestaltet. Es gibt drei Zimmer mit drei separaten offenen Badezimmern. Das Haus ist grosszügig und komfortabel.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Abseits der Hauptstrasse liegt mitten in einem Wohngebiet. Direkt neben dem Grundstück werden ein paar Rinder und andere Tiere gehalten, und teilweise roch es recht streng nach Mist. In der Nähe ist auch eine Moschee, doch diese ruft nur Abend, nicht in der Nacht oder tagsüber. Somit hält sich diese Lärmbelastung in Grenzen. Allerdings bellt ständig irgendwo ein Hund oder es kräht ein Hahn. Durch die Lage nah beim Hang, fühlten wir ubs ein wenig eingeengt.

Beautifully decorated villa, away from the noise of the centre of Kuta. You need a scooter to get around, but that was fine for us. Friendly staff.

Mosquitoes. There were so many mosquitoes we couldn't relax in the living room/kitchen/by the pool without getting bitten. So we mostly stayed in our rooms. Shame.

It’s newly built villa with very contemporary and beautiful design: concrete, wood, greens. Loved it so much! The facilities are fresh and clean. Also the bed, pillows are of great quality so we could recharge our batteries from all the activities and surfing. The location is great. Right in Kuta district with all the restaurants but not right in the main street so it wasn’t noisy at all. The stuff is helpful and caring. Roni and the team always tried to help and handle all the things needed.
