"I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at Paradise Ranch… it was the perfect “shavasana” after Yosemit"

10.0

Unique linear land : string of pearls so each “unit” felt/sat independent. Modern + Rustic… each considered “extra” like the pasta and wine, coffee and tea! The coolest design - I was in heaven!

Being completely isolated and far from town was a beautiful bonus, however, my enthusiasm for a star filled night was squashed by having LED landscape lighting that never turned off… and being in a glass house, the light kept me up both nights.

"Nature meets Luxury"

10.0

Paradise Ranch Inn is nothing short of what it boosts. The location is exclusive and serene. You feel so connected to nature while still being able to enjoy the amenities of modern day living. The limitless house had a fully stocked kitchen! You also have a fully stocked outdoor cooking space where we utilized both the pizza and habachi grill to its full extent. We enjoyed our private hot tub and the amazing views and sounds of nature.

N/A, no complaints AT ALL

"Beautiful place but has room for improvement"

7.0

This place for me was a mix of pros & cons. A friend and I stayed 2 nights. PRO: very stylish & modern accommodations, in a beautiful & peaceful setting. If you like tent camping but want to move up to something more comfortable, this could be perfect. The air conditioning & tinted glass worked fine even though the outside temperature was in the 90s. The wooden hot tub was a great place from which to watch the stars.

CON: the place is VERY minimalist & tight for two people, with not much room to put your stuff and hang clothes & towels. We had an EV and picked the place partly because it has a Level 2 EV charger, but when we found out it would cost $30 per hour (!), we didn't use it. Communication with the host had room for improvement: the first night we were there I had concerns about the open skylight and couldn't figure out how to close it (and the air conditioning was running but the outside temperatures were very warm). He didn't reply until after we had checked out 2 days later (and his reply didn't address the question of exactly HOW to close & open the skylight--I never did figure it out). In the end it wasn't a problem, but it would have been nicer to have my question addressed when I had the concern. He provides a LOT of information, so much so that some important details got missed in the quantity (& also perhaps my missing some notifications from the Booking dot com app). There was a 12 page PDF and about 10 messages with lots of other details. It is vital that you download or print off everything he sends you ahead of time because you will arrive at the gate and you will need to know the instructions & code for opening the gate and entering the property, as well as the code & instructions for opening the door to the unit where you are staying. You will probably have no cell service when you are there at the gate, so that's why you must have everything printed or downloaded ahead of time. The last few miles of the road to get there are a little rough and unpaved; an SUV would be preferable but we managed to make it in a sedan. EV owners, make sure you've got plenty of range to get in & out (or are willing to pay $30/hour for Level 2 charging).

"A unique resort that refreshes the mind and body."

10.0

Stunning setting, peaceful, calm, treks into Sequoia National Park on the doorstep, swimming in a beautifully refreshing pool under a waterfall when we got back to the resort.

BBQ was a bit large and inefficient for just 2 people but this was a minor point for a superb eco resort.
