Cosy 2 Bedroom Croft Cottage with Beautiful Views

Beautiful views and handy location for the Black isle and NC 500. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and prompt at replying to messages. The beds were clean and comfortable. We are a family of four and found it to be spacious and comfortable for our needs. The garden was fully enclosed and our children enjoyed playing in it. We were able to sit outside, relax, and take in the breath taking views.

Lovely little cottage with a great view. It is in a quiet area outside of the village overlooking the bay. The owners are a lovely couple, super friendly, and ready to help. They gave us excellent instructions how to reach the cottage and advised on where to find the Scotish Highland cows.

If you are tall, you need to mind your head in a few places. 🙂

bedroom doors are very squeaky, the double bed was not good as one side went down and on the other side you felt to high not on same level not sure if it was the mattress or frame.

Fantastic location, the area was lovely with walks right on the doorstep. Very close to Inverness and other locations, the cottage was quiet and peaceful and great for a family. The beds were comfortable too.

If I was to be picky, the cottage might have been empty for a while as it was very dusty, which I was more than happy to clean up, (the hoover didn’t work and there was no dustpan and brush) the owner was fantastic and dropped these off. There was no welcome book with local info and Wi-Fi code (essential when travelling with a teenager!) Or details of how to use the TV, (the issue might have been the batteries in the remote.) The kitchen was lacking in a few essentials, frying pan and a knife set might be a good addition. There weren’t enough towels, 1 small towel per person and 1 hand towel between 4 and no bath mat. (I felt a bit bad using the hand towel as a bath mat, sorry.) I would have brought my own. There was an ironing board but we couldn’t find an iron, if we hadn’t have been in a hurry to get to a funeral, I am sure the owner would have dropped one off

We booked this for a Christmas getaway and we were not disappointed. My family and I had the most wonderful stay here. The cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views. The cottage is so cosy and super cute, we were over the moon with it. The cottage is well equipped, so I had no trouble cooking Christmas dinner. Having internet and being able to watch tv was an added bonus. Once we figured out how to work the heating it was nice and toasty in there too. The shower was amazing as well. We would definitely recommend and definitely visit again.
