Windermere Retreat - White Cross Bay Holiday Park

Lovely place for the family. Super decking area and hot tub. We stayed during the lovely may bank holiday and had amazing weather. White cross bay itself is a lovely place. Clean (and it’s rare I say this as a cleaner myself) we really enjoyed our stay and are already considering booking again for next year!

Not criticism but constructive feedback. •I am aware as a local Cumbrian we rarely get gifted such beautiful weather,however, a fan would have been amazing due to how hot the lodge got. •a baking tray would be handy

Ideal location for our planned hikes, spacious, clean, light

Nice layout, hot tub was great and kitchen had great amenities. Great play area for kids and great location.

It could do with some TLC, maintaining garden and outdoor woodwork.Equally there was no welcome book with contact details in emergencies. We had an incident where a car was hanging around outside and driving up and down at gone 11pm and had no way of contacting security.

Clean, spacious, easy use of hot tub….made use dishwasher which was great

TV in twin bedroom didn’t work

The Lodge was very spacious with all the necessary household items there, very relaxing ambience, in a very good location, close to Windermere but also not too close.

The oven was temperamental- one minute food was taking forever to cook and the slightest added temperature caused food to burn but we managed fine.

excellent location . hot tub facilities ..ease of checking in and out . very spacious with two bathrooms .

In general it was clean and tidy but one of the bottom bed sheets on the single bed had what looked like dried sick down the side ? I called the contact mobile & sent a what’s app but nobody got back to me .It was a sheet covering the base of the bed…. not directly slept on so we just took it off but we were a bit disappointed nobody returned our call .
