Spacious living room and garden

The house looks beautiful on the pictures, but there are some serious health and safety issues in the property. Firstly, the top floor room is extremely hot in the summer. There was no AC and no fan provided and my little one was unable to sleep well; Secondly there were seagulls nesting right next to the house top floor window, so it was extremely noisy very early in the morning. None of us had a good night sleep, being waken up by all the birds from 3/4am in the morning; Lastly and most importantly, the property flooring work was done very poorly, leaving lots of sharp edges, uneven surfaces, and sunken-in under the carpet. The dry flowers decoration near the bed also have lots of sharp leaves. When my 4-year old walked down the carpet stairs on her barefoot, she suffered from a deep long cut at the back of her foot! She bled and cried immediately. When I notified Tom, the property owner, my message was ignored. I then messaged him on booking.com he only offered a discount if we return to book his apartments again, which is ridiculous considering the fact that my daughter got injured and will never return due to the health and safety risks. When I requested part refund, he ignored and declined it in the end. After using Booking.com for so many years, this is the first time I’m posting a negative review. One month after, the cut has left a visible scar on my daughter’s foot. Very disappointed with the way the property has handled my complaint. To all future customers particularly families with children, please avoid staying in this property!!

Location, size, lovely reception room, very quiet despite being in centre of town, very clean, well appointed

Garden overgrown with weeds, some fixtures needed repairing, frontage was untidy

Lovely house close to high street and the Sea. The owner thought about pretty much of everything in the house. Great seating area outside in the garden as well.

New pillows and duvet covers would benefit the property and improve comfort. New bath mats. Cleanliness can be improved through the house.

The house was very clean and the decor was exceptional. It was very spacious.

The parking is a nightmare 😫 it ruins the stay as when we arrived we couldn't park near the property. We had gone to the big church festival which is a 30mins drive from the house and each time we came back there was no parking meaning we had to park a couple of streets from the house.
