Merchant's View - Luxury Seaside Designer Retreat

House was stunning, location was beautiful too would like to go back in the summer months.

Only thing i would say is to get different sized glasses as they were all wine glasses and a few tumbler, and some new oven trays they were a bit worn out.

It was absolutely stunning.

The property is beautiful, very large spacious building with all the modern necessities

Beautiful location with a well finished property, all rooms and facilities were excellent.

The aga boiler / heater is a pain to get right and there are only 2 bathrooms, a 3rd WC would be a benefit for 8 people but simply loved it.

This property was exceptional. Very spacious and comfortable rooms with beautiful decor. Extremely clean. Excellent location with gorgeous views of the water out the living room and two bedroom windows (nice views out the other bedrooms too.) We loved watching the boats go by! Plenty of space for large families or groups as multiple bedrooms and sitting rooms. Lovely outdoor spaces with multiple doors to access the garden areas. Really nice big kitchen. Shower pressure was fabulous and plenty of hot water. Beds were very comfortable, we slept very well. Host was always very responsive. Lots to see and do on the island.

We had a minor issue getting the heat on (mid-August you would not normally expect to need the heat on!) We phoned our contact and they sent someone over almost immediately and the issue was resolved in minutes. Totally satisfied with the response. The kitchen tap is supposed to dispense instant hot water, it did not. But we managed ok without it. A larger frying pan would be very useful, but the kitchen was otherwise very well stocked. Having said that, there was nothing that we did not like.
