We loved the apartment. Excellent location. Very nice inside and had all the amenities we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful. She gave us so many recommendations.

Water pressure/hot water was a bit difficult sometimes.

Perfect location in a quiet street in the beautiful historical centre. Excellent Host. Amazing entrance in historical building, recently restored, some lovely antique furniture, cool design, comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities. Cool apartment due to thick walls (it was 45C outside).

A bit dark due to limited light from windows, however this is what most historical centres are like. One of the bedrooms has no windows. Remove the fake plants and add softer pillows.

The apartment is located in the old part of the city, Otrigia island. This location is perfect for sightseeing and experiencing Siracusa. The apartment kitchen is well equipped and offers very nice welcome pack (coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, etc.). Furthermore the owner is very nice and helpful - provides support (e.g. car registration to enter the island) and useful information about parkings, restaurants and shops.

There is two disadvantages worth to mention: water and light. In order to use water for drinking or cooking, consider bottled water, because Siracusa tap water test bad. Furthermore, as the streets in Ortigia are very narrow, there is little light in the apartment.
