GUEST HOUSE TAMINIZE - CAVTAT,sea view apartments

I received the code to a lock box but it wasn't clear which lock box or which apartment we were to use. I think there is a lot of value in a place when the host meets the visitors and shows them around the apartment. The view was great!

The bed was rather uncomfortable. The property, itself, is about a 30 minute walk into the town of Cavtat and it is very hilly. The stove top was difficult to use not helped by the fact that one of the burner wasn't working. There was a clothes dryer sitting in the driveway and a bowl of congealed muck on a retaining wall beside the dryer. Not a good look for the money we paid.

Peaceful location a 20 minute walk from the centre, very clean compact apartment and well equipped, the shower is very powerful as was the hairdryer and hot water was always available. TV has really good channels. Mini supermarket 10 mins walk for essentials and you can pick up take away pizzas from the bar near the supermarket if you fancy a night in. Host was very responsive. Our apartment had a balcony with a bistro table and 2 chairs, perfect for catching the sunsets which are breathtakingly beautiful as was the view. We found it a great base for travelling around.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like we are very familiar with Cavtat and surrounding areas and found it a great base, I would point out for anyone with mobility issues if you haven’t hired a car you may need to get a taxi back or to ( depending on how your mobility is) Cavtat centre as even though it’s only a 20 minute walk walk it’s a fairly steep one.

Amazing view. The apartment was lovely and bright. Very quiet at night. Also had great shower as we did a lot of swimming.
