Osney Juniper Studio - Self Contained Studio Flat

It was an easy walk from the train station. It was self check-in and the pictures were accurate. The bed was comfortable. The response time was fast.

It was sometimes difficult to adjust the temperature in the shower. The bathroom was clean but musty.

Comfortable and had most of the things I needed.

It was very small.

It is good in general.

It is too hot in the summer.

This was not a studio flat as described. It felt like an hostel which I don't think even they can be that bad.

The location was convenient but that is all. I am extremely unhappy with the description of this property - I almost cried when I arrived as it was so far from what I was expecting from the description as a " Self Contained Studio Flat" with 269 ft² size. What it actually is is a room with a double bed, ensuite shower room with a tiny sink and a microwave and small fridge. The double bed pretty much took over the whole room leaving barely enough room to walk around the bed - given that a double bed is about 28 square feet this makes the space significantly smaller than the 269 advertised for the space I had booked. The parking is also inadequate - you can't use the second space as the window juts out. it is hard to access as the drive way is not flush to pavement and the other space you have to pull right up to the front door to get the car off the pavement. As others have said it is noisy with paper thin walls and ceilings, was very hot and is extremely tired looking and “NOT AS ADVERTISED! A bedroom with bathroom & divided clothes closet containing a kettle,microwave & bar fridge on the floor of the closet is NOT a self contained suite with a kitchenette. The ‘suite’ contained a lumpy bed, which took up most of the room, a small desk & one chair. The only place to wash a dish was an extremely small bathroom sink. No area to prepare a simple meal.” The hosts responded promptly until I complained and I have heard nothing from them since.

Very handy to train station and rental cars. Just a few minutes walk.

Tiny and just a room alongside many others. Not a “flat”.

The location was convenient, wifi was wonderful and the tv channel was excellent.

Walls n floors are not soundproof, but this was not a problem for us.

The property is a great location and the couple running it are very swift at contact and extremely friendly. The facilities in the studio are brilliant and it has everything you could need. The bed was extremely comfortable too.

The place is a little tired in general and the sound transfer throughout the whole property is on another level. If someone dropped a pin in another room you’d definitely hear it. I also felt in this studio the location of the full length mirror was in an extremely difficult location and therefore there was nowhere to sit and do my hair when using electronics like straighteners.
