Borwick Lakes Holiday Caravan (Partial Lake View)

Great location, very clean and spacious and in a quiet area. Had everything you needed to cook if you wanted a night in but also close to nice pubs where you can head out for food. Brilliant walks close by and great for dogs! Beautiful scenery. We were well looked after by Mo the host who made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend! Thanks Mo! We will definitely be back again in the summer.

Clean and comfortable stay - the host was respectful and available for any questions about the stay which made our arrival run smoothly. Location is beautiful- the lakes and leisure facilities are beautiful.

Really good for the money

Lovely caravan with all you need for a comfortable stay. Booked last minute and read some of the harsh reviews which I must say to anyone reading them don't let them put you off. The caravan was clean warm and cosy. The owners left us a welcome card some biscuits and water which was a lovely welcome. The site is small and secluded with lakeside walks all around and access to a much larger leisure lakeside site across the road. Yes it is near the M6 and you can hear the traffic but it did not affect us at all. In fact how could you complain about the M6 when this is mainly all our means of transport getting to our destination up to the North! The owners were a message away if we had a question and answered promptly. Really had a lovely 4 night break here over new year weekend and hope to be back some day

Having to go home 😔

We had booked this on a last minute deal and arrived at the property late at night. It was hard to find but the owner provided all instructions and assisted on how to get to the property. We arrived and it was infested with spiders and bugs and small creepy insects. We had to leave immediately as my children didn’t not want to spend a minute more. We didn’t spend the night and left , the owner offered to have it cleaned by the cleaning company next day however we had to carry on with our journey elsewhere. The owner was very helpful, as it’s on a lake we would expect creepy crawlers to etc however it seemed like it had not been cleaned for quite a while.

Nice location,lovely views,too bad the location is way to close to the motorway

The noise from motorway was unbearable during nights,we didn't know that.

Fantastic location. Well kept Caravan with everything we needed.

Stale smell when you entered, continuous traffic noise 24 hours double room had only overhead light so no reading, TV fitting wire no tv on bedroom wall, glasses still had stickers on.
