Sl;ow response from reception. Informed reception that i need late checkout and this was informed on the day i checked in. Until morning 10.30 am of my checkout day, there was no information forthcoming from reception. Assuming all was ok, i left the hotel on a trip about 100km away. Upon me checking again one more time i was informed that i had to checkout by 12.30 noon. i then had to rush back

The room was fascinating, situated in the historical heritage house well maintained by a very nice group of staff beautifully! Especially, the bike ride with Shivan and other offers including tea, breakfast,and meals delighted me a lot. The bike ride in the early morning was a great experience, quiet, trafficless, enjoyable, and cooling. As for food, I like their amla pickles from the garden, the coconut pancake, and special paniyaram. They are served by a group of caring staff. Btw they have good book selection at the reception, but I wish that the bilingual book Mansions Palais de Sud l‘Inde from IFP (Textes Robert Dulau; photographies Arno Gisinger) were also there

The room, the location and the overall property was great. Loved the heritage village that it was located in.

I think the food was limited and I am pretty sure much of it was not authentic. Also the fact that for each meal
