Newley Decorated Central Maidstone Flat, Sleeps 4

Located is good

I recently stayed at this B&B and unfortunately my experience was not as smooth as I had hoped. The check-in process was quite difficult, as communication with the owner was challenging, and at times I felt my concerns weren’t being fully addressed. The property itself could benefit from some improvements. The corridors had a noticeable smell, with carpets in need of freshening up and cigarette butts visible, which left a poor first impression. The kitchenware was very worn, with cups that had stains and chips, and the towels provided were not fresh enough to use. I also noticed some exposed nails on the floor, which could be a safety concern for guests walking barefoot. The location is central but quite noisy, so light sleepers may want to take note. Additionally, the rules felt a bit strict, particularly around check-out cleaning requirements, which added some stress to the stay. On the second day, there was no hot water, so I had to take a cold shower, which was uncomfortable. Finally, the bed setup didn’t match expectations, as there was no proper double bed available. I think with better communication, updated facilities, and a bit more flexibility on guest rules, this B&B could offer a much more welcoming experience. At present, I wouldn’t recommend it for a relaxing leisure stay, but I do hope the property takes this feedback into consideration for future improvements.

This was a great location for us, we were working at the Maidstone Event Centre so it was incredibly easy to get too. The flat was really clean and tidy, with all the facilities that you could need. If we are working in this area again, we will definitely use this flat.

Dirty and stained sheets on arrival. Mouldy rotting and decaying walls and tiles in the kitchen

Property did not give the appearance of being newly decorated. Unclean and definitely not as advertised

An excellent place to stay with a family of four. It's neat and tidy, and just a 2-minute walk to the shopping center.

Shower head can be changed as it's almost in broken stage.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THE BULDING IS FILTHY, SMELLY, SITUATED IN A BAD NEIGHBOURHOOD. THE OWNER OF THE APT TRIED TO ILLEGALLY IMPOSE TO US TO CLEAN THE APT BEFORE WE LEFT, TAKE OUT THE TRASH OR THEY WOULD CHARGE OUR CARD AS COMPENSATION. THE APT HAS WALLS THAT ARE PEALING OFF AND MOLD. THE BEDS ARE COMPLETE DISASTER. I WOULDN'T CALL THEM EVEN BEDS. VERY SMALL BOILER FOR HOT WATER and NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY
