Seton Sands Haven Holiday Park - Prestige Caravan

The owner drove to the caravan to replace the poo stained travel cot and brought wine and chocolates and an apology after sending pictures to her of the state her van was left in from the cleaner

The cleanliness was a real issue. I took pictures of just how bad this was. We were given a travel cot in the wardrobe, when opened it was covered in poo stains and other stains which I’m not sure what they were. We had nowhere else for our baby to sleep so had to put a quilt down in it to make it sleepable. The living room stank of cheap floor cleaner so we had to leave the windows open constantly to breathe - no exaggeration it hits you as you walk in and yet the surfaces were dirty. There were pubic hairs on the sink, toothpaste spit in the sinks, skid marks in the toilets! The en-suite toilet still had a poo in it!! A toothbrush holder with spit and hairs in it too (which the owner took away disgusted when she came down to give us a new travel cot). To top it off I slept in the bed one night, used their soap the next morning and my face ballooned as I’d taken some kind of severe reaction and had to go to hospital! I’m still on steroids and antihistamines and now missing a week from work after staying in the most disgusting caravan I have ever rented. Don’t let the nice pictures fool you as I did. The owner was lovely but she said the cleaner they use was usually very good - clearly not. There wasn’t a room that was clean in the full caravan!

Comfortable stay with a surprising amount of space between lounge, kitchen and bedrooms. Shower water pressure was good. Communication with the owner was excellent and the property easy enough to find with parking next to the cabin. We endured Storm Dave without any issues!

The facilities on site were not for us but we knew that was likely before staying. The shop on site was convenient however.

The property was very nice and extremely clean. Everything was well organised and ready for our arrival. The caravan was comfortable, warm, and had all the facilities we needed. The location was also great and easy to find, and the check-in process was simple and smooth.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything met our expectations.
