Location, spacious facilities and amenities

The heating, dishwasher , and the hot water supply , bathroom lock issues and water pressure are a let down

The Bark house was huge and spacious, most of the bedrooms are en-suite and had everything we needed it was so well equipped. The kids (and adults) loved the snooker table and the space to play

We arrived on a cold wet afternoon at check in time of 4oclock and the house was very cold as the heating was off and it took all evening to warm up so we sat having dinner in our coats. The heating needs to be turned on to welcome guests on cold days

Gorgeous country vibes. Very spacious had good facilities. Lots ot outdoor space aswell. Even had a bbq there. And the fire inside was so cosy.

No proper dishwasher.

Beautiful but no proper dishwasher and too far out from anywhere but had a lovely time and host had thought of everything for our stay. Would recommend it to others

No real dishwasher just a glass washer

A great house for a group of friends. Lots of space - we hosted a murder mystery and the house worked really well. Plenty of parking and a beautiful location. We loved the log fire and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need.

Some of the beds were a tad uncomfortable and there was a bit of bother checking in, but all quickly resolved.

Absolutely lovely cottage and location. The surrounding land and gardens are beautiful. So much equipment in the kitchen, anything you may need is there. Hosts were lovely and accommodating for us.

The only downfall was the shower pressure & hot water in bathrooms took a while to run through. however this understandable given it is a very old and rural property. It didn't ruin our stay at all but was the only negative if I had to find one.

It was very large so we could all spend time together, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and games room available for both young and older members. Lots of outdoor space to use and explore. The host was extremely helpful and so was check in.

On a very busy main road, curtains were very thin. The house was a bit cold. House is up for sale so likely to have some changes in the near future.
