Vacation Beach House South of Mauritius - Riambel

We had a really nice experience in this Beach House. It seems that house and the place has the spirit of old Mauritius. Feeling is like you visited old house of you grandma. Em was open and friendly. She gave us fresh aloe and told how to treat our sun burn. Sitting at the terrace and looking at the ocean or night sky was fantastic. I did't have any expectations in regards the swimming in ocean at the south, but in fact it was also nice. Only be careful with the understreaming.

the electricity socket for the TV was not working well.

Fantastic location, right on the beach with direct access. Very peaceful and easy drive to shopping. South Mauritius coastline is something special and this guesthouse was like staying in your own holiday home. Welcoming and would stay again for longer!

A little hard to find driveway but host was super helpful and welcoming!

The hosts were very nice and helpful - gave us their phone numbers in case we needed anything and we did twice and they were just very helpful.

If there was something we talked about during our stay it was that the couches were not that comfortable. But for our short stay were we travelled most of the day they were fine.

This is a slice of heaven. Emmanuelle is the most welcoming and lovestruck host ,always on hand if you need anything and so great to chat to. We also felt very look after and safe knowing she was just next door. Everything was easy, the house is clean and cosy and has everything you need including a game of Carom which we thought was a lovely touch.The view from the bedroom balcony and front porch are out of this world. It's so peaceful and the real Mauritius! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be coming back as we fell in love with the whole place. Highly recommend if you love nature and an authentic island experience. Thank you Emmanuelle for everything 🙏 ❤️

Great location in front of the sea. Beautiful views from the rooms. Nice and quiet house with everything we needed. The air conditioner worked perfectly. The host also had left tea, coffee and juice for us, wich was very kind of her.

The location of booking was wrong and we had real problems finding the house and contacting with our host. We also had to share the stay with small lizards and cockroaches, which may be normal in that region of the world, but we were deffinitely not used to it. We were far from a real supermarket too.

Great location and very friendly host. The house is charming with incredible views right on the beach.

Unfortunately, the two double bed matrasses are really hard and uncomfortable. But this is a personal preference and not what we are used to. We didn't have a good night's rest, but this might not be a problem for others.
