Lovely place, really spacious and perfectly placed for our weekend plans. We were attending a party in the next village and the 8 minute drive from here to the party venue was so straightforward. We met the owner, who was so lovely and helpful; she even prepped a welcome pack for us with jam and croissants!

Location was great, and property is well equipped. Catherine's communication is really helpful, clear and friendly. I would recommend this property.

Location was excellent

Initially we were unsure if we were in the correct place as the apartment isn't named hog plum. Called the owner who responded quickly and assured us we were in the right place. We were then met at the gate where she showed us in, gave us a tour of where everything was and handed over the keys. There was milk, butter, tea, fresh coffee and biscuits provided. The bedrooms were comfortable. The pub 'the Bakers arms' was next door, good range of drinks, very friendly, even allowed you to eat the fish and chips from the van in their garden. Their food was fairly limited but they were very accommodating with my GF diet

The shower has no bracket so you have to hold it whilst trying to shower/wash hair etc. The view from the main bedroom is a brick wall, good privacy but not the best view. No drawer in the main room for underwear, and no mirror, plenty of hangers though for your other clothes. The smaller room had no hanging space but had some drawers. Would happily go back and stay.

Catherine was very patient with our late arrival and even ironed a shirt for me as I was late for an event, which was exceedingly kind.

Lovely host good location, very spacious, peaceful, good village shop nearby, friendly local residents. Pub next door was not noisy. New venture by owner, work in progress!

Parking not on site, some furnishings missing, lack of open views and outside space restricted.

Catherine was a very friendly and helpful host. Very pleasant accommodation that met all our needs, with adequate cooking and cleaning facilities, and was clean and well presented. Having spent part of my life living in the country I found the noise of church bells and passing tractors to be very evocative. My adult son also thouroughly enjoyed the location and opportunities for exploring.

Holiday was too short...

The ground floor apartment was spacious,and well equipped for 2.It faces onto the main road through the lovely village,but is not overly busy.It is dog friendly,and there is a safe off road walk just behind the church across the road.With a pub next door also dog friendly,and a well stocked shop about 30 yards away,it is a lovely place to Stay.
