Blackberry Cottage

Wow!! We were absolutely blown away with such a fantastic little find and over the moon with our stay. Firstly, our hosts were so accommodating with a few issues that happened prior with storm dariah so we were delighted we could rearrange at a later date as well as earlier check in time. The coffee machine with complimentary pods was awesome plus the little Welsh cakes for breakfast. (My son had those). The little homely touches really felt so engaging and were greatly appreciated. The interior was fantastically thought out and was to an impeccable standard. My husband and myself couldn't believe how roomy and large the cottage actually was! The kitchen area and bathroom were outstanding and furnished to an exceptional level. The bedroom was decorated beautifully as was the front room with a great little sofa bed. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch as were all the other little decorations. I felt so Christmassy when I took the dogs out in the evening and saw all the outdoor fairy lights on! So pretty. Pet friendly wise, simply amazing. The little "doggy relief" area with bin and poop bags was a great touch and really appreciated as our two pugs loved the safety of the gated in area (they are both flight risks). The parking area was also very safe and secure. The cottage is located centrally was well so we managed to come and go quite freely with the local attractions etc. All in all, the hosts have really invested their time, effort and finances into this property and it certainly shows. If I could give this 10 stars I would. If you book this property, I assure you that you will not be disappointed. I have already had friends and family enquire as to the location with photos shared on social media and we will certainly be making the effort to come back for longer from plymouth in future. Thank you do much. You truly made our visit to Wales extra special. The quality street are for you as well .

No improvements to be made. This is an exceptional little cottage. We will certainly be back again for longer so we can explore more

What an impressive little cottage! We arrived to a warm, welcoming space. Heating was on, postcard with a personal note sat on the kitchen table with some Welsh cakes, complimentary tea and coffee, toiletries and my favourite...washing machine and dishwasher pods! The amount of places that expect you to provide your own - whether staying for 1 or 7 nights, is ridiculous - it's the small things! We even had a Christmas tree! 17min drive into Cardiff. 100% recommend!

Only thing for us (and this is purely personal preference) was that we found the bed a little soft...but that's it!

Fabulous stay ! Very comfy mattress, kitchen is very well equipped. Only improvement would be the shower water pressure and drainage. Very friendly and efficient welcome from hosts. We will definitely come back since our daughter is studying nearby.

Clean, comfortable - a home from home. Really thoughtful with welcome teas, coffee, Welsh cakes. Great interest connection. Excellent place for dogs.

For the length of stay there was nothing that we didn't like.

Very Clean and modern

Absolutely lovely stay. The property is recently renovated, bright and clean. Really comfortable accommodation with good facilities. The property is a few miles outside Cardiff but with a bus stop just outside and bus timetables at the property, it's very easy to get into the city. Becky was very good at communicating, very helpful and left a lovely note to welcome us. She obviously takes great pride in her property. I would strongly recommend this property

Nothing we didn't like. It's outside of Cardiff but we knew that when we booked and it was easy to get into the city.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful, clean and well thought-out in a great location with a bus stop into Cardiff right outside the door. Becky was fantastic in her communication with us from initial booking and during our stay. The complimentary teas, coffees and Welsh cakes were a lovely touch. We brought our dog Archie with us and the property had a great relief area for him, not to mention the dog bed Becky put out for him, dog treats and bowls and a towel for him to use. It’s so wonderful to find a property which welcomes our four-legged family too! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, what a lovely property, thank you so much.

Although it didn't bother us, it is worth mentioning that the property is off a main road going into Cardiff so there is road noise to contend with.
