Selen's Apartment in Ti Rocher Micoud Saint Lucia

The host was awesome. She was always fast to reply and provided local fruits which were in season. Really good for a local vibe experience.

Was a bit far from some of the attractions on the rest of the island.

Selen was totally awesome host. Everything went smoothly from the beginning until the end.

Our stay was great and it was an amazing experience! The accommodation is very cozy, quiet, comfortable and very clean. We also enjoyed wonderful view of the garden. The breakfasts were great. We had all sorts of cooked breakfasts every day different. We had the best care we could get from Selen. Thank you so much for your kindness and your warm hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay in Selen's Apartment and will definitely come back.

Selen met me at the airport and drove me to the apartment view the local supermarket so I could do a small shop and get necessities it - now that was REALLY helpful - set me up for a few days! She also provided dinner that night (delicious fish and salad) and breakfast the next morning! WOW. Selen is an exceptional host - going more than the extra mile to help you settle in and feel at home, nothing is too much trouble for this lovely hospitable lady. She really is one in a million! The big tele - brilliant - and lots of channels to choose from - right up my street. The good wifi. The lovely water cooler - now that was a real bonus - cold spring water at the touch of a button - wonderful and extremely thoughtful - a first in ANY of the apartments I have hired in 16 years coming to the Caribbean - well done Selen! A really comfy double bed - I had a great night's sleep every night.

I would have loved air conditioning - it really is necessary on the Caribbean islands, but I understand that there are various works in progress so hopefully it won't be long before it is installed :-D. Also, no washing machine in the apartment as sadly there had been washing machine issues in the apartment and Selen's apartment, meaning there was no working washing machine anywhere in the building for some time. I do appreciate it takes time to sort these things out - and it is not the end of the world lol! Perhaps also good black out curtains in the bedrooms? Daylight woke me quite early (not a problem really but a lie in would have been good :-D ) and I know some people cannot stand light coming in too soon.

Lovely, comfortable apartment in a beautiful, peaceful setting with an amazing view to the rear of the property. Furnishings were luxurious and the kitchen was very well equipped. Selen's breakfast every morning was delicious and a real treat. She also treated us to fruit from her beautiful garden and made us tea using the various leaves also from the garden. Selen is a great host and made our stay a perfect one. We would have loved to have stayed for longer if we could!

There was no airconditioning but it all was fine with the huge windows open and the cooling breeze blowing through the aparment and windows have mosquito nets.

Selen is a very accommodating and hospitable host. She makes sure that you are comfortable during your stay. She will help you in every aspect of your trip.

In St Lucia driving takes a lot of time due to the conditions of the streets. So going to the west and north takes some time (there are the main activities) but it was nice to see St Lucia without tourism as well.

Selen is an extraordinary kind and warmhearted host. Always helpful. The apartment is big, has a well equipped kitchen, nice bedroom and a good shower. The neighborhood is rural, calm and off the touristic path. We had a good walk up to the forest reserve.

You should know that the location is not shown correcty at booking. It is not 1.5 km up from the Micoud/Ti Rocher junction, but 4.5 km and lies at the upper end if Ti Rocher. Few buses. It's convenient to have a car.

The apartment was clean and well-appointed. Selen was an attentive and gracious host. She has worked hard to create a home away from home for her guests, including such personal touches as her own artwork on the walls.

Nothing :) My only critique was that the location shown on Booking.com was a little off. (This seems to be quite a common problem in St. Lucia, in general) It was no big deal, as Selen confirmed everything by WhatsApp before my arrival anyway.
