ROThe property is really nice in the old city, being renovated to keep its original design. The furniture is new and modern, the kitchen has everything you need in order to prepare dishes, and as a bonus, there is a dishwasher to forget about cleaning the dishes. The bathroom is also big, nice and clean, and the rooms are big enough to accommodate 4 people. There are also two wireless chargers for phones and other devices, as well as an air conditioning system. Regarding the parking, it is perfect because it is in the front yard of the house, behind the gates; it is easy to park a regular car (maybe large SUVs or limousines require more maneuvers to fit there).
GBThis was a fantastic surprise and a fresh change from the usual. The Art Deco façade and beautifully refurbed interior has sort of a Bridgerton feel to it (my little one said, "this is a castle"), but with a modern touch. It's cosy and elegant, and if feels like a true home. Every little detail was well taken care of (including small bottles of truffle oil, olive oil, etc.) The beautiful decorations added warmth and nostalgia, and made it look very home-y and inviting. This little gem has everything you'd need: from a compact, yet spacious dishwasher, an AC unit and all the way to a bidet faucet in the bathroom. It's located in Central Bucharest not far from the bubbly nightlife and anything you may want from the capital city (like the lovely pastry shop just across the street), and it features a lovely little garden that is well sheltered from the uninvited gaze of the passerby, as well as a parking area. The host is very responsive, amiable and helpful. I think it's ideal for a romantic couple retreat, or a family trip as well, just make sure the kids are well behaved: both the traditional fireplace, as well as the lovely floor board that is close to a century old deserve due care. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this and I would definitely love to book it again some day.
