Place was mostly clean upon arrival.

Host contacted me hours after checking out claiming there was a "weed smell throughout the unit" and that I either needed to send them 50 dollars or they were going to charge my credit card for 350. Neither me or the person I was with smoke or drink and the host even went as far as to send pictures of various trash items claiming it was marijuana. HOST IS MONEY HUNGRY AND WILL TRY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY!!! DO NOT BOOK!!!

"Nice Apartment in Midtown Near Medical Area"

The apartment was a pleasant surprise after entering through a slightly sketchy area. It’s clean, well appointed and a decent size with full kitchen with full size refrigerator/freezer and washer /dryer. The bed linens were comfortable. WiFi worked well.

The area around the apartment is rundown and unkempt. I didn’t like parking our car by the road, instead of outside our unit. Once we were in the apartment it felt safe. We just would have preferred a better parking spot off the road.

This was like borrowing a friend's apartment..

A few homeless people around but that te life fe in an urban setting. Every Iowa has homeless. And I said hello to a lady who stopped to sit a moment and she was polite. A very urban area. I hope my car is ok!

The driveway entrance. Huge pothole on the right side of entrance that’s not visible PRIOR TO turning into the complex.

Location, overall place was nice! Clean! And by clean I mean spotless!!! Not even any dust!!!!

Close to down town!!! Shuttle or walking distance. What we did! Lots of walking, wife is into that, but you are in the center of a bunch of history so it’s a ideal place

"6 dollar cab ride from downtown. Area looks run down but we had no issues. Cost effective way of staying near downtown"
