Large and comfy studio flat C near Heathrow

Proximity to bus and Underground station, a pub nearby and a pleasant neighborhood. The Tesco grocery market was 1 mile away. The kitchen was a plus, although we only stayed long enough to use the refrigerator, microwave and kettle.

There was NO mirror in the whole unit and only one bowl in the kitchen. A few glass containers with covers would be useful for cooking/reheating items in the microwave. The door had a window that was covered with contact paper that was separating, so it looked “tacky”; privacy film could solve that problem. The shower drain backed up initially, but after cleaning it out, it worked okay. I noticed some cobwebs and dead bugs from having the window left open that might have offended some people. The shower was in a corner of the bathroom and the spray wet the whole floor, so you had to mop it afterwards or your feet got wet every time you used the toilet. I suggest a small glass partition to separate the toilet area from the shower to address that issue.

The only good part about this property was it’s location for us to see the planes landing at Heathrow

The flat was very unclean the so called cooker was a small unit on the drainer and the inside was not suitable for cooking food inside, the bed was very lumpy and dipped in the middle so you rolled to the centre, the shower was a joke, as soon as you turned it on it flooded the bathroom and the kitchen and made it very very slippery on the floor tiles, if an older person stayed there and slipped on the tiles this could have been very dangerous if they hurt themselves and could not get to a phone. Very bad. Also no TV, there was paper stuck to the front inside door window to stop others seeing in but this was ripped and kept blowing about very time I opened the door, very unprofessional. There was dirty stained pillows, and a live wire hanging in the bathroom again very dangerous, and the bathroom was not even cleaned properly before we got there, and in the price was £15 cleaning fee, what a joke.

Nice shower and spacious room. The cooking pots need more improvement, and the wifi was so weak.
