Modern 8 Sleeper home in trendy Observatory

It's well located. The house was very clean, but had no lounge, only 4 nice spacious bedrooms, a kitchen with a table with 2 benches and 2 bathrooms, exactly as per images. It would have been super helpful if there was a lounge or comfortable seating after our 6 hour drive. The WiFi's not the best, it's on and off and there's basically no cellphone reception. Should this have been a relaxing leisure trip it would have been very frustrating with regards to signal and comfortability watching TV. It helped that we had prior arrangements and that the unit was only a place to sleep. The toilet paper was not the best only 1 ply and already used rolls so it was not enough for 8 people. There's also a yearbook full of house rules and it was made clear that no parties are allowed and that the neighbours WILL complain should there be any inappropriate behaviour which left a bad taste in my mouth as we had no intention of doing any of that. 3 x people knocked on the door trying to sell stuff so we had to keep the front door closed. The passage between our unit and the neighbours allows for no privacy they can basically hear and see everything and all his motorbikes are parked there. The cherry on top for me was the fact that we were not allowed access to the property without copies of our ID's. So they received our money a week ago already, but the ID's would give us access, what a bad start to which could've been a great stay. Otherwise we really had a comfortable sleep.

The check in process was a hassle. Instructions should have been sent ahead to ensure a smooth check in. Check in times are also crazy late. The beddings are full of bed bugs.

It was clean and close to most areas

We liked the location and the fact that the house was fully equipped with everything we needed

A few more toilet rolls would have come in handy as we were 8 adults who stayed there for 2 nights , and we ran out of toilet paper on the last day and had to go buy.

Location, reasonably safe, nice walk around the neighborhood and quaint cafes. Just pickup the key from the lock box. Clean house, clean rooms, floors, sheets, linen and towels. Nice view to Lions Head mountain (when you step out of the house)
