Rachel's Farm luxury escapes with Hots Tubs

Had a wonderful stay at rachael's farm booked the gate house and the stables for family and both properties were 10/10. Rachael herself was extremely helpful as the stables was a same day booking and she accommodated the extra family members that were arriving with very little notice, very happy I found this little gem and will be a returning customer to try out the other properties in future

Beautiful clean and quirky cottage. Private comfortable and has everything you would need for a nice getaway.

Sofa wasn’t particularly comfortable but that is the only thing about the whole place, It is outstanding.

Stunning location and beautiful place to stay, really did think of everything to make this a home from home!

Location was lovely, good for access to the Trossachs. although there was building work going on behind the lodge - it wasn’t intrusive, but did start at 8am. Lodge is almost brand new- BUT there were snagging issues that spoiled the experience.

I think the snagging issues should have been sorted before the lodge was opened to use, or we were at least informed of the issues. The leak from the roof meant I had to clear up water ingress three times, there was no mop and bucket to do this. For me the worst problem was the panel in the bedroom that hadn’t been sealed and had a gap of about 1 cm at the bottom ,direct to outside, and a field, so ideal for mice to enter, let alone the breeze that was coming through. I had to use cardboard to stuff the gap! And the whole panel should be sealed as the draft came in from all around it. The wood burning stove was lovely, but no tools for it, ie poker, tongs and brush. We didn’t attempt the micro/cooker combi. Holes in bathroom should have been patched, towel rail in other bathroom was turned off from somewhere outside, this was rectified but we felt we should have been told someone would be coming to do that - as it was done when we were out and our possessions were in the lodge. No arm on the hot tub cover to help lift it on - this was explained to me. The TV. If I had been there with my friend we would not have been able to use it. Only lucky that my niece knew how to ‘stream’ it from her phone. That should be explained in selling it as luxury accommodation. The hanging ?smoke detector in the cleaning cupboard did not instil confidence. On reflection I chose this accommodation as luxury accommodation to treat my niece, who has had a tough year, and I may have thought twice had I known the snagging issues. It would have been good customer service to offer compensation or a weekend break in low season, but this was not forth coming.

Lovely property, beautiful decor and stocked with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hot-tub was great for a chill out and worked perfectly. The host (Rachel) checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

very minor points (and not really an issue) but the back garden could be doing with a little bit of weeding (round the hot tub) and maybe a grass cut to smarten it up. As I say this wasn't a big deal and could be down to the time of year with the weather not as favourable for gardening activitied.

Everything was perfect, gives you a feeling of both modern and country. My kids didnt want to leave or go out for activities.

The accommodation needed a really good cleaning, the bedding on one of the beds did not look clean, the tap in one of the bedrooms was very loose, dead spiders and flies left around the windows. Crumbs on kitchen table
