Chàm Corner Lookout Homestay

Cham's Corner is a small family run homestay, centrally located but still relatively quiet, which was ideal for us. Hang is an excellent host; she did all she could to ensure we enjoyed our stay including arranging speedboat transportation to and from the island which required some juggling due to the typhoon and us having to stay an extra night. We ate in quite often due to the weather and Hangs food is delicious... there's also plenty of other great places in town to eat and get your coffee fix. The island and homestay was recommended by another couple we met on our travels and we were not disappointed. If you're looking for a laid back quiet location with beaches & a strong local vibe, clean rooms with ensuites (as per pics), great food and welcoming hosts, Cham's Corner Lookout is the place. Highly Recommend.

What a wonderful Homestay experience! Hung was a wonderful host - nothing was too much trouble. She arranged transfers, motorbikes, food, laundry for us all at a reasonable rate - she is very honest and very humble and happy to answer all our questions!

Best hotel we had in Vietnam so far. The room is basic, but has all facilities you need and is super clean. The owner goes beyond expectations and requests, and cooks daily fresh food on request. If we could give 11 stars out of 10, we would. We will definitely stay here again.

The most perfect homestay on Cham Island – a true highlight of our Vietnam trip! We booked Cham’s Corner a few months in advance, knowing it would be popular—and I’m so glad we did. There were four of us, so we reserved two rooms, and everything exceeded our expectations. Before our arrival, Hang (the wonderful owner) reached out to help us plan our journey and even arranged the speedboat to the island. It made everything so much smoother and stress-free. The homestay is just a 5-minute walk from the pier—turn right when you get off the boat and you’ll spot it easily. When we arrived, Hang welcomed us warmly and shared loads of helpful tips about the island and things to do. Her home is spotlessly clean, cozy, and incredibly well-kept. Our room was immaculate, with a private bathroom and AC—honestly, I think we had the best room in the house! The terrace is a perfect place to unwind after a day of adventures, and Hang is such a generous and thoughtful host. Her cooking is delicious, and the cocktails were a real treat. Cham Island itself is absolutely stunning—peaceful, scenic, and a total contrast to the busier parts of Vietnam. It ended up being one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Top tip: if you need to rent a bike or book a driver, speak to Hang directly. We learned the hard way after overpaying a couple of times when we went through locals instead—Hang offers fair prices and reliable service (for example, bike hire for 200K VND for 3 hours elsewhere vs. 24 hours with her for less!). We genuinely didn’t want to leave and would recommend Cham’s Corner to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxed island stay. Hang made us feel right at home—thank you so much for everything!

Wonderful location, host and service 🫶🏻😍

The room was very comfortable with AC and a private bathroom, the rooftop was very cute and with nice views, and the food delicious! Also, the owners were so welcoming and helpful, with many tips to move around the island!

Best value for money on Cham with comfy beds, great a/c and a fantastic roof terrace. Staff very helpful and accommodating, allowing us to stay on the roof terrace after we'd checked out, until we could check in elsewhere (same price but not nearly as good as Cham corner lookout). Wished we could have stayed here longer.
